Be Camp Fire Safe, Only Light a Fire When it is Safe to do so
The manufacturing and sale of the Camp Fire Mate is still only a hobby but the entire unit, every item is hand made by me, assisted at times by my wife, at our home near Casino, New South Wales. The manufacturing of the unit proved to be a great help to us during the COVID-19 lock down period.
ABOUT MIKE SULLIVAN:

I have an engineering background being qualified as a Fitter and Machinist well over fifty years ago. I have over fifty years’ experience in welding. Although I chose and followed a different career, I always maintained a keen interest in engineering and in later years I have designed and marketed a number of products. These included Equine Dentistry Equipment and items in the Security Industry.
About forty years ago, as a hobby, I designed and made a crude version of what I now call the Camp Fire Mate. Over the years I have continued to improve the article and mainly gave them away as Christmas presents. As the article improved, I included blacksmithing into the manufacturing process. Blacksmithing being a hobby of mine for many years.
